A BIGGER PICTURE
Location photography is always so unpredictable especially when you live in Oklahoma. On this day R&W client Adrian White aka DriNeal shoot was scheduled for 8:00pm. Around about 3:30pm the weather shifted from bright and sunny to dark and cloudy with rain in the forecast. Rain – this was not apart of the concept for this shoot. Today was the final day for us to shoot to stay on track with the release of his album. So with lots of prayer the rain subsided. When we arrived on location the clouds were ominous, but the lighting was so amazing! I immediately thought “less post production” half the work is already done. Thank You Lord! We still set up our own lighting to add to the greatness. Adrian came ready to work he immediately got into character and we was able to capture some good stuff. The clouds in the photographs was not photoshopped in – God did that. As soon as we packed up the equipment and drove off the clouds opened up and the rain flooded the streets. Prayer works!
AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL
We had only one hour and a few pieces of wardrobe to shoot ANTM contestant, Stacie Tottress. Texas resident thought she was coming to Oklahoma to just to visit family, but she met us on Thursday and shot with us on Saturday. She is a natural beauty that is going far in the world of modeling – look out Noami Campbell, a new sheriff is coming to town.
THE COURTNEY ROSE PROJECT
Miss Courtney Rose – what can I say? Her smoldering good looks threaten to ignite the bed she’s laying on. We first met Courtney on “My Dang Swag” video shoot for one of our clients, Soulja Flow, that featured Rasheeda “The Georgia Peach”. She walked in the studio like the girl next door, but when lights, camera, action was called she metamorphed into this dynamic video vixen and was cast as lead girl. Later, Courtney’s manager Tai Jones with Forty Models contacted us to shoot her for a feature on Urban Candy Shop. This was our first opportunity to work with her personally in front of a still camera and she delivered as well. She was highly elated with the product and service she called upon us to produce her 2011 calendar, “THE COURTNEY ROSE PROJECT”. She invited us into her home for part one of this amazing assignment.
ELDREDGE JACKSON
Who is Eldredge Jackson?! What?! You don’t know?! Well he’s only the most sought after jazz musician this side of the river. Google him! Okay great! – now you know him. A long time fan of Eldredge we finally had the pleasure of formally meeting at a holiday party hosted by Blue House Media, one of Tulsa’s premier film and recording studio. When Eldredge decided he was ready to update and upgrade his image he elected us for the job and we replied, Yes-Yes We Can. We shot Eldredge on location and in studio. The location we scouted was a perfect fit for his smooth style. Eldredge is no stranger to the camera. The way he plays his Sax mimics his abilities in front of the camera. Between lighting arrangements Eldredge entertained us by playing his Sax. The birds descent and sang-a-long and the fish danced beneath the water. (You think I’m joking – I witnessed this! -that’s how good he is) To say the least, the acoustics was phenomenal. We wrapped the shoot back at the studio. Eldredge was greatly satisfied with his new image and continues to use our services for his promotional needs. We are very thankful that Eldredge selected us to be his mirror to his fans.
